- The best way to find out if we’re a good fit is to contact me to set up a free Meet and Greet, Zoom, or phone consultation. During this brief meeting, I will go over the specifics of what makes my studio unique as well as answer any questions you may have.
- I offer private, partner, and buddy lessons and quarterly group workshops. The studio term includes 32 weekly appointments from September through May. Both weekly attendance and weekly practice is expected.
TUITION for ’22-'23:
Buddy Lesson (45 minute, 2 students in the studio)......................................$90/monthly
Private Lesson 30-minute........................................................................... $105/monthly
Private Lesson 45-minute............................................................................ $155/monthly
- An annual Registration and Materials fee of $85 is assessed at registration in June. This fee covers registration and processing fees, physical materials, recital fee, incentive programs, and more.
- Tuition reserves your weekly time slot and studio membership. It also covers the cost of lesson planning, all lesson types, and group workshops. Tuition for the term is payable on a monthly schedule over 9 months, September through May, or by semester.
- Tuition will be invoiced at the end of the month and due on the 1st of the month. Tuition is payable online or by check (in person only). A late fee of $10 will be assessed if payment is not made by the 10th of the month.
- Makeup lessons are not offered; however, alternative solutions may be negotiated depending on the circumstance, for example, Zoom or FaceTime lesson, pre-recorded lesson, group lesson, lesson time swap, etc.
- An acoustic piano is highly recommended, but a full-sized/ 88 weighted key digital piano will be acceptable. A 61 key keyboard is not acceptable. Acoustic pianos must be tuned and good condition. I can give you recommendations on a quality instrument if you have questions. Students should have an instrument BEFORE lessons begin and have regular access to their instrument.
- Based upon the child’s age and level, I choose an appropriate study method that will advance the student through the basics of pianistic study.
- Students will have performance opportunities through group workshops and recitals throughout the year. Attendance is required for these events.
- Parental involvement is crucial in the advancement and encouragement of the student. A parent doesn’t have to know how to play the piano; however, support and encouragement is so important in the learning process.
This is a brief overview of my studio set up. Feel free to contact me about a Meet and Greet, Zoom, or phone consultation to discuss lessons more deeply and answer any questions you may have.
